Not everyone’s born with a silver spoon in their mouths, especially not McCann, who struggled to make ends meet before making it big.

The actor was once homeless and completely broke, living on food he stole from grocery stores and supermarkets. While this might make him look bad at first, McCann defended himself by saying that he had no other means of survival.

Of course, his bad days are now behind him which means that he never has to go back to shoplifting again.

While there is no doubt that McCann is a master of his craft, the actor has gone through several trials and tribulations to get to where he is now.

At one point during the filming of the show, he was required to lose some weight to make his recovery from the White Walker attack more believable. To achieve his goal, McCann started going to the gym, eating healthily and even gave up on alcohol.

Love Life

The actor is currently single and isn’t too keen on changing that status because of his hectic work schedule.

In an interview, he revealed that he hasn’t gone on many dates since he first started acting and a lot of it has to do with the fact that he travels too frequently to sustain a stable relationship.
